National High-Five Day
National High-Five Day
Today, April 19, 2018, is National High-Five Day! I’ve always enjoyed giving someone a ‘High-Five’. I guess it goes back to my childhood. It was the cool thing to do.
I kissed and high-fived my husband as he walked out the door this morning.
Cooper-Clyde couldn’t be left out.
Two down many to go!
Yes, I’m gong to keep a tally, just for giggles.
I’m pretty sure that every knows what this hand gesture means. But, just in case you’ve been living on a deserted island, I’ll be glad to tell you.
It’s a common hand gesture when people raise one hand in the air and slap each others palms. This is done when greeting someone, congratulating them on an achievement, or just celebrating something great that happened.
Have you high-fived anyone today?
“Tricks aren’t for kids” and neither are high-fives.
Come on…you know you want to. Think of it as a Thursday Challenge. Walk up to someone you know, or a stranger, and raise that hand high and say, ‘put er’ there’. Hopefully, they won’t leave you hanging. But more than likely you’ll get a smile and a high-five.
Keep a tally like me and post pictures on my blog.
If you’ve purchased one of my books, and you liked it, come give me a high-five today. If you’ve purchased BOTH, ‘Paisley Memories’ and ‘Dancing with Dandelions‘. Well, that warrants a double high-five! I’m ready, bring it!
