NATIONAL OREO DAY

NATIONAL OREO DAY

CHOCOLATE LOVERS UNITE!

Today, March 6th is National Oreo Day. Oh Yeah! Time to celebrate something that started over a hundred years ago by The National Biscuit Company, now known as Nabisco.

A day to forgo the diet, healthy eating, and treadmill.

I remember as a child taking as many Oreos as I could in one hand and with my ice-cold glass of milk in the other hand, I’d sit at the dining room table.

Are you a Dunker or a Twister?

I dunked each Oreo in milk and took a bite leaving what looked like a black half-moon still in my hand. It soon became a moonless night as I ate, and ate, and ate! I have a bit more restraint now-adays.

Well, just a smidge more…

I savored each Oreo until they were gone. And gulped the gray milking concoction that remained.

Are you a Dunker or a Twister? I dunked my Oreos, but some people twist them and eat the filling first.

Break out the party hats, confetti, and Oreos. It’s time to par-tee!

I’m a mother, an author, and an Oreo Dunker!
