My new book “Dancing with Dandelions” is almost here. It’s a continuation of “Paisley Memories“.

Dancing with Dandelions, the second book in my Paisley series, will be released in late January 2018. As you can tell by the cover, Paisley is older, and with her zany personality, she’s a perfect fit in this eclectic family.

Paisley Memories introduced you to a young, single, mother of Paisley. Paisley has down syndrome. Tess struggles with a life changing decision of keeping her baby or giving her up for adoption. I wrote the kind of story that I would have enjoyed reading when my daughter was born. My daughter Sarah has down syndrome and was the inspiration behind the story.

Paisley Memories, as well as Dancing with Dandelions, are works of fiction and in no way resemble how my life with my daughter began or has continued.

Dancing with Dandelions continues with Tess and Paisley’s story as their lives together are constantly evolving. Paisley is older now. She has a voice of her own and isn’t afraid to speak it. Tess learns more from Paisley than she would ever have imagined. Tess’s relationship with several people change in the second book, including Aaron McMasters.
