RANDOM FACTS ABOUT ZELLE ANDREWS

Random Facts about Zelle Andrews

Just the random facts ma’am, just the random facts.

Have you ever read a book, fallen in love with it, and wondered if the author was anything like one of the characters she wrote about? Is she feisty and a survivor like Claire Beauchamp Randall Fraser in Outlander by Diana Gabaldon? Maybe, she experienced an awakening of cultural differences and found that she wasn’t all that different, like Mary Rowlandson in Flight of the Sparrow by Amy Belding Brown.

Perhaps, she has tapped into her sixth sense like Little Debbie Ballard in Clemenceau’s Daughters by Rocky Porch Moore.

Admit it. Even I have read a book and thought, ‘Oh, I wish this author lived right next door’ We’d be such great friends’.

Take a seat and listen up.

Unless you’re reading a memoir, chances are the characters are nothing like the author. I write humorous, southern fiction that is based in Panacea, Florida.

Why? I grew up in Florida and enjoy the beach, but have never owned beach front property and never plan to. My main character in  the Paisley series, lives in a beach house. She’s young, immature, and makes rash decisions in the blink of an eye.

Me? I think things through and could very well be her mother. Or even…eeek….her grandmother. Tess starts out with no parents and no friends to help her as she raises her daughter Paisley who has Down Syndrome.

Me? I came from a loving and very supportive family.
